the plans below show how a city center before and how it looks now
The provided maps illustrate the evolution of a city center from its original state in 1950 to its current appearance.
In general, the city has experienced substantial development over time. The population has increased tenfold, and important changes have occurred.
In 1950, the city held 20,000 people. It had a central business area with two main road crossings. However, one road went northwest, unlike the others. North of the business district, there was a residential area, and an airport was located to the east. A bridge spanned the river flowing from the southwest to the southeast, leading to a government building in the south.
Today, the city's population has increased to 200,000. The residential area has significantly expanded, widespread across the city. A new main road was added from the southwest to the middle of the west road. Another business district has emerged in the south, centered around the government building, along with another government building. The river has been turned into a vast lake, with a dam built at the southeastern end.
