Various changes Grange Park has undergone since its opening in 1920 are illustrated in the given two maps. Overall, the park has witnessed striking transformations as it has been refurbished into a more diverse complex that offers people more possibilities for entertainment.
Grange Park is now completely different compared to how it was in 1920. Although the park did not relocate the entrances, an amphitheater for concerts has been built on the site of the previous stage for musicians. Facing it now is a rose garden, substituting with the water fountain, which is surrounded by seats.
Moreover, the water plants’ pond and garden were cleared out to make room for a cafe and a play area for children. On the north of this area, more than a century ago, was a glasshouse that now has been knocked out to construct a water feature. The seats which were beside this construction are now the entrance to the underground car park. Considering the seats, there has been a removal of four of them in the west of the park as well as the rose garden on the lower left of the park.
