The two plans illustrate some changes to a public park from 1920 until now.
Overall, this park experienced considerable changes during the period shown. The most noticeable different between the two plans is the erection of rose garden and the substitutions of amphitheatre for concerts.
As can be seen from the plans, the fountain was destroyed to make a way for rose garden in the central with many seats put around. Beside, the seats in 1920 disappear. it also should be noticed that in the west of the maps the demolition of stage for musicians resulted in the construction of amphitheatre for concerts. The water features in the east was built to replace glasshouse.
Turning to the all the features, we can see from the plans that the pond for water plants was knocked down and replaced by children's area in the east. it can be noticed that by now there are an entrance underground car park but the rose garden in the southwest was destroyed.
