Essay topics:

The plans below shows a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where revelant.

The plan indicates the original map of the plan built in the year 1920. At the same time, other plan shows the changes made in the future.

Overall, It can be seen that the name of the park is Grange park.

First of all, let's talk about the entrance, both the entry gates of Arnold Avenue and Eldon street are same as it was built in the past. But, you can find that there's a addition in terms of people who will visit with vehicles, a underground entrance with car park facility. Another major change is with the central fountain which now can be seen as rose garden. Also, the seat positions are moved with respect to the past locations and now it can be seen around the rose garden. Whereas, the rose garden was on three various locations in 1920, and in the present, one near the Arnold avenue gate is still there and the other two are dismantled.

On the other hand, there was a pond for water plants in the earlier days and now children's play areas is been constructed at the same place. After that, just next to the play area a cafe is added as per the modern requirements. The stage built for musicians in the past now changed to a big and advanced amphitheater for concerts; with that, a new water feature is also added for better aesthetics.
