process
The given diagram demonstrates the number of stages in the production process of cocoa beans.
It is noticeable that the processing of coca is a step- by- step procedure which consists of 3 main steps.
The progress starts from collecting coca beans and ends with the transferring the product to the consumer.
In step 1, after the coca beans had been collected, the whole beans are dehydrated to split the shell. On the following stages, the powder is transferred to coca liquor under the pressure. After this the coca liquor go through two different processes. In the process 1, the liquor continues to be pressed to make coca cake and cocoa which is then added to make industrial chocolate. In process 2, the liquor is refined to become chocolate and then sugar and coca are added to make a mixture called industrial chocolate.
In the final step, cocoa cake is ground to become coca powder which is then can be consume in the market or can be use together with coca in food industry. The industrial chocolate goes through further processing to make finished chocolate products and after this it can be sell to the consumer.
