The percentage of student that entered four secondary school types between 2000 and 2009 is presented in the table graph.
Overall, Community Schools rose steadily and reached a peak in the end of the periods while the others school showed the reverse. By in the end of the period, the most unpopular school was Specialist Schools although more student intended to attend Community Schools.
By 2005, the Community Schools had shown a threefold increase to 32% while Specialist and Grammar Schools decrease steadily. A dramatic fall had shown in the Voluntary-controlled Schools to 38%.
Both figures for Specialist Schools and Grammar Schools continued to decline steadily between 2005 and 2009. The former graph decrease by 1% while the latter one fell to 12%. A sharply fall had been seen in the Voluntary-controlled Schools to almost the Grammar Schools figure in the beginning of the period.
