The table and bar chart show how journey times in a city centre changed after improvements were made to the transport network, and the costs of using different forms of transport in the city.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The table shows how long it took to travel around the city before and after the transport network was improved and the bar graph shows how much it costs to use different means of transport in the city.
Overall, a taxi is the most expensive and the fastest mode of transport. Journeys by tram and bus are much slower but more economical.
Regarding the table, the fastest way of getting around the city is by taxi, though its average journey time increased from 9 minutes to 12 minutes after improvements. Being the second fastest mode of transport, car drivers have seen a significant rise to 15 minutes in journey time. Meanwhile, it took much less time to travel by tram and bus after the system's upgrading, with 16 minutes and 23 minutes respectively.
Looking at the graph, the bus is the cheapest way of traveling, which costs about 0.4 dollars per kilometer. The average expense of journeys by car is twice as much as by tram, with 1 dollar for the former and 0.5 dollars for the latter. However, the highest cost belongs to taxis, with 1.8 dollars on average.
