the table provides data about the sources of police budget, while the pie chart illustrates the proportion of these money which was spent for 3 kinds of purpose in the period between 2017 and 2018.
Overall, it is clear that most of the budget was used for salaries, while the opposite was true for technology. Another noteworthy observation is that the figure of these budget experienced an upward trend.
In term of National Government, the figure for this source witnessed a slight increase, over 2 million dollars. Meanwhile, a significant increase was seen in the local taxes, over 11 million dollars. Finally, the other sources such as grants grew minimally so the total budget rose nearly 14 million dollars during this period.
Regarding purposes, ranking at the first position, the money spent for salaries accounted for 75% and 69% in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Standing at the second place, the percentage of money for buildings and transport stayed remain, 17%. Finally, although the money used for technology was less than the others, it still experienced a considerable increase, about 6%.
