The table below describes the number of employees and factories in England and Wales from 1851 to 1901.
The tabular data contains information about number of male,female employees and the total number of factories in england and wales during the period 1851 to 1901.
Initially the factory are very less but the working employers count at its peak value, on average each factory has approximately 2000 employees. Gradually the factories count keep on increasing on the other side employees count are decreasing further. Employee counts are greatly reduced from lakhs to few thoushands.
Firstly, in year 1851, the total employers has the most significant peak value of 477,100 including 287,100 males and 190,000 females. Gents are reduced to 50% in 1861 and ladies declined to 85% of initial value. The patters followed the same at the end almost equal number of males and female employees working.
On the other side, Secondly eventhough the employees are greatly dropped, more number of factories are constructed more upto 1881 and then fall. From the data it is clear as the technology and advancement in machines increase, labour cost and employee count fallen. In the end 1901, on an average 1000 employees are working in each factory from 1881 to 1901, the factories are decreased by 120%
