The table below gives information about the underground railway networks in six cities.

The chart illustrates the number of kilometers of route and passengers per year respectively, coming along with the opening date of six different cities' underground railways systems.
Overall, it is noticeable that the earlier the date opened was, the longer railways route had, except in Kyoto. Furthermore, Japan had both the highest and fewest quantity of underground railways users, which were in Tokyo and Kyoto compared to other destinations.
As can be seen obviously, London railways system was the oldest among other cities, which was opened back to 1863; thus, it had the longest length of route, at 396 kilometer. However, there were just 775 millions people choosing to use this system. While the train systems in Kyoto was built 20 years later than the previous city and earlier than Los Angeles, the newest train line, this city had the shortest route, at 11 kilometers each leading to the fewest number of passengers each year, which were 45 millions people.
Moreover, the number of passengers using this transportation in six cities were varied. Although Tokyo was the third oldest underground railways line and kept the length of the route at 155 kilometers, it stand out to have the highest number of travelers each year, started at 1927 millions people. Paris ranked second in the quantity of people going by underground railways, at 1191 millions passengers.
