The chart illustrates how much food was consumed by an individual every week in the European continent at 10 years intervals over a period of 20 years, commencing from 1992.
In general, while the proportion of food consumed moved upwards, the pattern for that had some fluctuations throughout the timeline.
As far as the first year of the surveyed stint was concerned, the figure for vegetable consumption was approximately 2140 in 1992, which was the most common over a period. While the proportion of meat is higher than wheat, with respectively 1148 and 837 in 1992. Furthermore, the statistics of the bean are fivefold compared to the cheese over the period.
Thereafter, the figure for people who ate vegetables had a slight increase from 2002 to 2012.
