Overall, it can be clearly seen that the number of moter vehicles in Brazil and Romania increased singificantly, while Cambodia had the lowest figure in both years.
In 1990, Luxembourg and New Zeland had the highest rate of vehicles per 1000 people, at 548 and 531 respectively. The Bahamas followed with 235 vehicles. Meanwhile, the figure for Brazil, Chile, Jordan and Romania Fluctuated between 50 and 68. Cambodia had only 1 motor vehicle per 1000 citizens, which is the lowest number in 1990.
By 2000, the figure for Brazil and Romania were overtake those in 1990 by a wide margin, reaching 1350 and 9012. The slightly rise of number motor vehicles was roughly the norm in Chile, Jordan, Luxembourg and New Zeland. In Cambodia, the number stayed unchanged, however the number of motor vehicles per 1000 people in the Bahams dropped to 187.
