IELTS Writing Task 1 - Table

The given table summarizes the information regarding changes in family type in Canada between 1984 and 2020.
Overall, by observing the table it’s clearly evident that one person household type has witnessed a gradual rise in a given time slot. Whereas one family household, except couple with dependent children, remaining all categories shown some considerable rise during period. Whereas family with dependent children experienced substantial fall.
There has been steady increase of one person household which has doubled from 6% in 1984 to 12% in 2020. Whereas the lone parent category saw a sharp rise in 2020 that is 12% which is exactly three times than that of 4% in 1984.furthermore the partners with no children also rose its share in between these considered time period from 19% (1984) to 25% (2020).
In the other hand, the percentage of couple with dependent children dramatically reduced from 52% in 1984 to 36% in 2020. Whereas non dependent children category showing some fluctuations between 9% and 11% during the same period.
