The table below shows the number of medals won by the top ten countries in the London 2012 Olympic games.

The given data presents the top ten medal earning countries in the London Olympic games which was held in the year of 2012. Overall, from the presented table data, USA has won the highest number of medals while Hungary won the least number of medals in this Olympic games.

According to table data, USA won the highest number of medals which was 104 and they won the highest gold and silver medals among the ten countries which was given in the table. Highest number of bronze medal won by Russia which was 32. The asian countries were in top-ten-list in terms of their medal winning were China and South Kore. China won 88 medals total and placed in second position. South Korea won 28 medals total; placed in 5th position. Though, Russia won more medals than UK, but they were in 4th place because of their low number of gold medals than UK, which seems that have better value and points than silver and bronze medals to be in the top place. The other countries who were in the top-ten-place were Germany, France, Italy, Hungary and Australia with less than 50 medals in total. The least gold winning country was Australia and their position was in number 10 on the list.
