The table below shows the percentage of cars of different age from the date of their purchase in different countries.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table provides information on percentage of cars divide in five age groups right from their year of purchase of 13 years and above in four countries.

The most eye-catching figures are from Japan, Where 79 percent cars are younger than 3 years. Only 16 percent cars were of age 4-5 years and rest were less than 3. It means that 95 percent cars in Japan were bought in the last 5 years.

Little over one third of cars were bought in the recent three years in the USA and the UK and almost a Quarter of the cars were up to 3 years old in New Zealand. The next age group of 4-5 years is led by Britain with 36% cars followed by New Zealand with 32% and America with 24. The following column of 6-8 years is topped by New Zealand where a little over one-third cars were of that age followed by UK and USA with a little over one fifth.

Finally, it seems that Japanese started showing great interest in owing a car in last five years whereas ever four in five cars was younger than 8 year in remaining countries.
