In general, it can be seen that all three companies witnessed an upward trend, with Eldan holding the lead at the end of the examined period.
Only 3% of senior management positions belonged to women in Eldan in 1975. This figure remained stable across 1980 before surging to 14% in 1985. Subsequent to a two-fold increase to 28% in 1990, it skyrocketed to 33% and 64% in 2000 and 2015 respectively, higher than the other firms. Meanwhile, the participation of females in senior management in Bamforth Ltd rose steadily at a 2% rate every five years from 9% in 1975 to17% in 2000. A further escalation to 46% in 2015 saw it end up just behind that in Eldan.
The rate of women in senior roles in Finsbury oscillated between 14% and 16% during the first 10 years before rising to 22% in 1990. After a slight decline to 20% in 2000, it enjoyed an upswing 26% in 2015, despite losing out to the other two companies.
