The table below shows the percentage use of four different fuel types to generate electricity in five Asian countries in 2005
The diagram gives information about the proportion of using Nuclear, Coal and lignite, Petroleum and Hydro and wind fuel types to produce electricity in five countries of Asia in 2005.
Overall, it can be seen from the table that Malaysia was the society which used the Coal and lignite most to generate electricity while the Thailand was the lowest in the usage of Nuclear in 2005.
According to the diagram, the consumption of Coal and lignite was the important fuel type for Malaysia accounted for 61 and Singapore was the second largest land responsible for 42 consuming Coal and lignite to produce electricity. In terms of Nuclear, Japan used the largest amount of Nuclear formed just under 50 while South Korea ranked first (48%) in Hydro and wind.
Meanwhile, Nuclear consumption in Singapore stood 13 %, which witnessed the smallest proportion among the five Asian nations. In terms of Coal and lignite, Thailand consumed the least Coal and lignite comprised 3% and the share on Petroleum products in Malaysia formed 2% of using there, which was the lowest percentage among five communities.
