Overall, about 18.3 million Australian families were poor, also the percentage of all households was low in the given year. As the data suggests, the category of the sole parents in Australia was the highest allotment of poverty, however the single aged person had the lowest rate (4%) in the same year. While single aged person had 6 percent of poverty, also single but without children had 3 times more in the same time. From the table it can be clearly seen that couple with children were 2 times less than a couple without any children.
In conclusion, from the given table the category of couple with children had more percentage than other categories from the table, but the aged couple people had the lowly percentum among other poor families.
