To begin with, there was a moderate increasing trend saw in Long Lane, with the number recording from 400 in 1993 to 800 in 1996. However, a small dip was depicted in the next two years, with 638 and 700 respectively. As the figure for Great York Way, it started at 600, and reached its first peak at 720 in 1994, followed by a slight decline to 630 in 1997. Interestingly, Harper Lane saw the lowest figure in 1883 with 82, and this number climbed rapidly with 5 years. Finally, reaching its peak at 915 in 1998.

By 2002, Long Lane had had the highest number among all three roads, peaking at 1400 in 2002, when this figure is 7 times as many as the figure for Harper Lane. The figure for Great York way remained about the same level, around 900 in the last five years.
Overall, Long Lane had the most number of cars per hour using among all three suburban roads, Harper changed most dramatically.
