The table shows the amount of money given in aid of technology of developing countries by charities in the US EU and other countries from 2006 to 2010

The table illustrates data on the changes in the expenditure on technology given to developing countries from global charities, over five consecutive years, starting from 2006.

Overall, it is clear that the overall financial contribution of these regions increased throughout the observed period. Additionally, the figure for America was far exceedingly higher than that of the remaining nations.

Looking at the table in more detail highlights the fact that the US had the largest amount of money spent on technology in order to assist developing regions, with 9.7 billion US dollars in 2006, rising substantially to roughly $23 billion dollars in 2010. Meanwhile, the total expenditure also experienced a two-fold increase, between 15.7 and 30 billion US dollars in 2006 and 2010 respectively.

European countries and other areas, however, accounted for a smaller contribution of expense on technology, compared to America, with 3.3 and 2.7 billion US dollars, accordingly in 2006. In addition, their figures grew slightly over the research period, reaching around three to four billion dollars in 2010.
