The provided table depicts information of cell phones sold in millions from 2006 to 2012 from five developers. It is obvious from provided data, that number of mobile phones sold showed an increasing trend, however cross developers some had decrease in sells when others had opposite effect.
At the beginning of the period in 2006 only Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung and Motorola have been selling cell phones, when Nokia and Motorola were leaders with 345 and 210 millions of mobile phones sold. Over the period Nokia had almost same sells with slightly increase. Ericsson with 74 millions of cell phones sold in 2006 ended up in 2012 with only 28 millions of cell phones sold, despite of increase in sales in 2007 from 74 millions year before to 102 millions. Motorola was second biggest producer of cell phones in 2006 with sells of 210 millions of mobiles, however, in next years experienced significant dropped in sales to 28 millions in 2012, same as Ericsson.
In 2007 Apple have entered market with cell phones with 2.3 millions of mobile phones sold. Over the half decade Apple's sales rapidly growth to 135.8 millions of mobile phones sold. Samsung have sold in 2012 more than three times more cell phones than in 2006 (396.5 millions, 117 millions).
