The table shows the Proportions of Pupils Attending Four Secondary School Types Between 2000 and 2009
The table illustrates the percentage of pupils attending 4 different types of secondary schools from 2000 to 2009, in a duration of 10 years.
Overall, as it can be seen the proportion of voluntary-controlled, specialist and grammar schools decreased, while the community schools increased during the same period.
As is given in the table, community schools shot-up from just over 10% in 2000 to a little less than 60% in 2009. while the percentage of 3 other pupils schools, declined by 2%, 12%, and 32% respectively. However, specialist schools fell insensibly but voluntary-controlled schools have a significant downfall. Finally, grammar schools became half in these years from nearly one quarter to almost 10 percent.
