The given tables illustrate the number of profits brought from selling coffee and bananas between 1999 and 2004 in five different regions in Europe.
It is clear that the year 2004 witnessed a significant increase in the figures of coffee revenue in all European countries. Additionally, UK and Switzerland were two countries that made up the largest turnovers of coffee and bananas.
As can be seen from the tables, in 1999, the quantity of Swiss coffee earning ranked the first with 3 million euros and then it saw a double rise in 2004. Followed by Denmark which experienced a slight growth from 1,8 million euros in 1999 to 2 million euros in 2004. Similarly, the number of UK profit increased dramatically by 18,5 to 20 million euros. The amount of Belgium and Sweden coffee sold grew to 1,7 and 1 million euros respectively at the end of the period.
On the other hand, in 1999, Switzerland also accounted for the highest level of sales of bananas with 15 million euros. After that, it increased more than triple. The sales volume of bananas in UK and Belgium rose by almost five times to 5.5 and 4 correspondingly. Meanwhile, in 1999, the number of Swedish and Danish bananas selling stood at under 2 million euros. Then they decreased nearly 1 million euros in 2004
