The chart shows information about the percentage of a drug company’s sales in 3 regions from 2002 to 2006.
Overall, the highest percentage was recorded in America, the lowest belonged to Asia in 2002, but the opposite was true in the next 4 years. Moreover, while America, Europe showed a downward trend, Asia witnessed an upward trend from 2002 to 2006.
It is substantial that over two-fifths of sales stemmed from America in 2002, before falling to 35% and 27% in 2003 and 2004, respectively. In 2006, the figure showed a slight recovery of 3 percent. With only 25%, Asia was less 16 % than America. After that, there was a significant rise in the proportion of Asia and then it finished at 40% in 2006.
In addition, Europe ranked second in 2002 with 34% and then the number escalated and reached the top at 38% in 2004. After gradually decreasing in the 2 years, the percentage was 30 percent, equal to America in 2006.
