Task 1: The diagrams give information about changes in a student accommodation.
The picture illustrates how a student accommodation has changed.
It is clear that the student house has undergone significant modifications with the construction of a car parking area and removal of a garden.
In 2010, there were gardens on both sides of the house. At the main entrance, while one student bedroom could be easily seen at the back corner of the house, another bedroom was located on the left side. Going further into the house and turn left, a bathroom was located on the left side, which was opposite to a kitchen. The third bedroom was situated at the left bottom corner of the house, next to which was a living room.
After some renovation work, now, while a car parking area is built to replace the garden on the right side, on the left side, a new student bedroom is constructed on the original site of the garden. A living room is demolished to make space for the fifth bedroom for students. By contrast, the bathroom remains unchanged. An en-suite room is erected opposite to the bathroom.
