The graph below shows the amounts of waste produced by three companies over a period of 15 years.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Write at least 150 words.
The given line graph illustrates the amounts of rubbish produced by company A, B and C from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, company A and C had completely different trends over the period of 15 years, while there was a change in the amount of waste company B produced before and after the year 2005.
It can be seen that, in 2000, company A stood at the first place in amount of the trash produced, about 12 tons. During 15 years, there was a steady fall in the amount of rubbish of company A produced, to under 9 tons in 2015. Whereas, started at the lowest place, a significant increase was seen in the amount of trash discharged by company C, from about 4 tons to about 10 tons over 15 years, and company C produced trash the most in three companies in 2015.
In terns of company B, this company produced about 8 tons of waste in 2000 then gradually increased and peaked in 2005 at about 10 tons. In the next 10 years, the amount of waste of company B plunged to 3 tons in 2015.
