The provided chart demonstrates the total number of minutes spent on telephone calls in the United Kingdom, separated into three different categories during the period of 7 years starting from 1995.
Looking at the bar chart, it is clearly seen that the amount of time spent on national and international-fixed line and mobiles (all calls) increased significantly. In addition, the figure for the local-fixed line fluctuated. Furthermore, the number of minutes spent on local-fixed lines by British people was the most popular, and the lowest figure on the chart was for mobiles(all calls).
The amount of time spent on local-fixed line ranked for the first position with over 70 billion minutes, which was 12 times as high as the figure for mobiles in 1995. Besides, people in Britain spent on national and international fixed line nearly 40 billion at the same time. Moreover, upward trends were seen in the given telephone calls during the course of the period. In 1998, the number of minutes spent on national and international -fixed line, and mobiles reached 50, and 12 respectively. Furthermore, the figure for local-fixed line hit a peak at 90 billion.

By contrast, the opposite trend was true for the figure for local fixed-line. The number of minutes spent on local fixed line fell slightly to over 70 billion, but remaining the first position in 2002. Additionally, the figure for national and international reached a peak at 60 billion, the lowest figure on the chart was for mobiles at approximately 38.
