The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010

Essay topics:

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.

The provided two pictures illustrate some main changes taking place to road access to an unnamed city hospital between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, it is evident that the city hospital and the Ring Road which surrounds it remained unchanged during the time frame. Another interesting point is that there were several significant changes to the southern side of the hospital, involving intersection upgrades, parking areas and bus facilities.
Looking at the information in more detail, one of the most striking developments to the transport infrastructure is the construction of two new roundabouts at the three-way junction of the Ring Road and the Hospital Rd, and at the four-way intersection of the City Road and the Hospital Rd.
Furthermore, there used to be six bus stops situated along both sides of the Hospital Rd; by 2010, however, they had been demolished to make way for a considerably large bus station to the west of this road. On the opposite side, meanwhile, the original car park for both staff and the public was converted into a staff-only area. At the same time, another public car park was erected on the east of the city hospital and connected with the Ring Road.
