the U S Energy consumption by Fuel 1980 2030

Essay topics:

the U.S Energy consumption by Fuel (1980-2030)

The line chart compares and contrasts data on the changes in the number of quadrillions of energy consumption in USA over a 51-year period from 1980 to 2030.
What can be easily seen is that there is an upward trend in almost categories with the exception of the stable of hydropower figure over the time frame.
More specifically, it is obvious that the largest expenditure was petrol and oil, and this is still predicted to rank the first place, which is standing at just under 50 quadrillion, an increase by 15 after a half century. Moreover, the second and the third highest figures were natural gas and coal in 1980, at respectively 20 and 15 quadrillion. Both of them, however, are forecasted to have the interchangeable rank with the other one in 2030. The three remaining categories, which were much lower, all started from approximately 3 quadrillion. While hydropower has still stand at the same figure, the nuclear and solar/wind are estimated to grow to about 6 and over 5 quadrillion throughout the time.
