The bar graph shows the global sales (in billions of dollars) of different types of digital games between 2000 and 2006.
Write a report for a university, lecturer describing the information shown below.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given graph illustrates the sales of different sorts of digital games all over the world in billions of dollars from 2000 to 2006. Overall, it can be seen that while the handheld games were the most sold games over the time, the console games sales had gradually decreases over the years. Online games and mobile phones games had a steady increase in sales.
To begin with, the handheld games sales was gradually increasing from $11 billions to almost $18 billions from 2000 to 2006. In contrast, the sales of console games decreases from $6 billions to $3 billions over the time. In addition, in 2001, a new type of digital games had appeared and achieved approximately $1 billions. Likewise, mobile phones games appeared in 2002 and reached the same sales as online games at $2.5 billions.
From 2003 until 2006, mobile games and online games experienced almost equally a rise in their sales, however, in 2006, online games had exceeded the sales of mobile games and reached $8 billions.
