The provided table compares the amount of fish caught and imported by the city of Perth in Australia from 2004 and 2014.
Overall, it is apparent that Perth had more fresh fish from both sources throughout the specified period, with local catches significantly surpassing imports.
Regarding the number of fish caught by fishermen, there were 2677.7 metric tons of fresh fish in 2004, which saw a progressive increase before reaching its peak at 8136.2. Onwards, the local catches decreased continuously, almost halving its 2008 figure, despite a relative upswing to over 5000 in the final surveyed year. A similar pattern can be observed in the total amount of fresh fish, albeit peaking a year later, at nearly 9000 metric tons.
In terms of the amount of imported fresh fish, having imported 464.5 metric tons in 2004, Perth saw some fluctuations in its imports in the initial five years before reaching its highest point in 2010, with slightly over 1200 tons. However, these figures witnessed a consistent decline to 782.7 metric tons in 2014.
