A family member is coming to stay with you. He/she will be arriving by train in the morning, but you won’t be home until the evening.
Write a letter to your relative. In your letter:
explain arrangements you have made for them to have keys and get into the house
tell your relative how to get from the train station to your house
say when you will be home and suggest what you could do together that evening

How is everything going on, hope that all is well. I was about to pick you from the station but unfortunately I wont be able to come to receive you as I am not home till the evening i will be free post 6. I promise you I will compensate you for this.
I am sending my car along with the driver to get you from the station to my place. i hope it is fine with you. I had a plan to see you and to take you with me, I got an urgent call from the office for the meeting so i had to rush to my workplace. sorry for this, you need not to worry as i told the driver to hold the placard of your name and to take you to the famous restaurant for the lunch there is have already reserved a table for you.
I will be home by 6:30 after reaching home we will have fun together. I have planned a lot of stuff for us. we will have quality of time together. we will have our dinner and post that we will watch a movie. Please forgive me for this.
