The graph give information about the average proportion of three types of nutrient namely soidium, satuated fats, added sugar, which can be unhealthy if consume too much, in typial meals in USA
As can be seen, Americans eat less sodium, saturated fats and sugar during their breakfast but they consume a large proportion of them while they eat their lunch and dinner. The snacks also contain these nutrients in plenty.
Looking at the details, the sodium comsumed in breakfast took a large slice in chart, accounting for 43%, while 29% of it while having lunch. In contrast, the breakfast and snacks contain 14% of sodium, which was an equal proportion. The second chart represents the percentages of satuatated fats in meals. Dinner contain the highest ratio of satuated fats ( 37%). By eating lunch, the average american consume 26% of satuated fats, followed by snacks with 21% and breakfast with 16%. The last pie chart illustrates the proportion of added sugar. Snacks contributes to a comsumption of 42% of added sugar. A typical dinner includes 23% of sugar while lunch and breakfats contain 19% and 16% respectively.
