Dear John,
Great to hear that you are coming for a visit. I'm looking forward to showing around you.
How long are you planning to stay? Also, is there anything, in particular, you want to do while you're in here? By the way, if you haven't booked a place to stay yet, you're welcome to crash on my sofa.
You should definitely set some time aside to explore the city center. Of course, you can visit some of the main sights like Birla Mandir, Golconda Fort, IMAX multiplex and so on but, it's also fun to wander around streets and alleys and just explore. There are a plethora of interesting shops and cafes dotted around.
Have you tried Hyderabadi Biryani before? if not, you're really in for a treat! The biryani here is delicious and amazing. It's also worth to try classical dishes like prawn fry with bendi sauce -- its a kind of sauce with vegetables in it. You can also get tasty wine here and generally pretty affordable.
Let me know your plans and hope to see you soon.
