Dear Sir or Madam,
I am A T M Jakir Alam and I am a resident of South Banasree area. I am writing to put an official complaint regarding the construction work which is going on in my resident's vicinity.
My home is located just in the intersecting corner of road 5 and Madani avenue. The construction work of replacing the former damaged drainage has been continuing for last 15 days which creates unbearable noise, especially from the excavator and brick-breaking machine. To make the matter worse, the construction team works in two shifts including night till 10 pm, resulting in a poor concentration of the kids for their daily study. Moreover, the clouds of dust created by road maintenance are negatively affecting the health of the residents, and causing different respiratory disorders.
In this circumstance, I would like to request you to send an investigation team to measure the noise level and necessary measures which can be taken to reduce sound pollution. You are also requested to complete the work as early as possible to minimize the local sufferings.
I look forward to the problem being resolved.
