Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
thank them for the photos and for the holiday
explain why you didn’t write earlier
invite them to come and stay with you.
Hi Pearl,
Hope you are doing well. I’m writing to let you know that I’ve received the photographs
of our holiday.
I couldn’t thank you enough for the enjoyable trip at your place in Dubai and the
magnificent pictures captured at various areas. The most eye catching picture I adore is the one which we clicked from Burj Khalifa, the tallest building of Dubai.
I couldn’t write you earlier because I was busy at office. As soon as I arrived from
Dubai, I was pulled by my manager to lead a Chinese project and since then I was occupied in gathering the necessities for the project.
Jennifer and I will be glad if you guys come and stay with us during
the winter break. As the weather over here is pretty cool and the night life during winter
is awesome. Last winter my brother-in-law visited us from India and he didn’t wanted
to leave this city because of the pleasant weather, late night barbeque parties, etc.
Take care of yourself and hope to see you soon.
Kind regards,
Sebastian
