Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
thank them for the photos and for the holiday
explain why you didn’t write earlier
invite them to come and stay with you
Dear jhavi and Bhavi
Thanks for the pictures that you sent us. We have already framed the one where we all are standing at the pool. Honestly, It was the most fun I have had in ages.
However, when I opened your letter I felt guilty for not responding to you earlier. There were torrential rains in our area and most of the town was flooded. I was horrified to find my apartment submerged in water. We had to wait till the water had receided and everything to come back to normal. Even though we lost alot of our furniture, there was not much damage beyond that.
We would love to have you visit us here. There is a train ride to North Ireland and the view is mesmerising, also a little quaint town of Sicily is a pizza lovers heaven that we all can visit. Moreover, we can stay at Gales's parents castle for few days.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Lots of love.
King
