Dear manager of London Travel Information Center,
I am a resident of Vietnam and I would like to draw your attention to my recent situation and request for your advice on accommodation, sightseeing and transport facilities in London.
I have graduated as a language specialist in Vietnam for a few months. At the same time, I have gotten the full-time scholarship from Scotland university. Therefore, I intinted to go to Scotland next month to study. Moreover, I checked the schedules for flights carefully and realized that we will have three-day stopover in London. Because of that, I will have the need of accommodation for two nights. Although, there are some suistable types of accommodations for me in this situation are hotel room, rented accommodation and apartment block, I will be requested to put down a deposit or pay rent in advance.
On top of that, it will be valuable time for me to get around the sprawing city to expore this beautiful country. I have heard that there are many fashionable boutiques and pavement cafe in there for tourists who would like to relax after visiting tourist attractions or joining interesting activities in public spaces. As a result, I think I will use public transport very much at that time.
However, one of my serious problems is that I have tight budget for two nights accommodations and costs of public transport. I am writing this letter in hope that you can give me some helpful advice on accommodation, sightseeing and transport facilities in London.
I look forward to receiving your response.
Your faithfully
