Public persons in Media
The last century has been conceived to be the Era of changes happened in all spheres of our lives – from the daily routines to the considerable breakthroughs in bio- and IT-technologies, engineering, communications and etc. The internet, Television, Radio can be pointed out to be new ways of communications that are owned nowadays thanks to mentioned above progress. Never in the recorded history has the humanity has as unprecedented opportunities to be in touch with the rest of the world as it has today. Indeed, nowadays not only are there used over thousands and thousands of years chances to interact with indigenous folks from our villages, but as well considerable and even in past unfeasible, unattainable opportunities to be in touch with people over the world. Having comprehended these facts, one might ask whether these distance people have considerable impact on us or not?
The briefest reflection on the current daily lifestyle easily reveals that there is a blizzard of areas which are inured to connection with the world. Whether it is checking the news or preparing an essay or even just reading a book, we can be estimated to be under the effect of it, to be influenced by people which wrote this information. Presumably, the influencers play a crucial role in this process, so do the themes rose by them – from the economic situations in the emerging/developing, developed countries and the global warming, negative influence of our generation on the Earth to the not quite clever items in sexual spheres, damaging ways of behavior among adolescence. It is high time to push the prominent and urgent themes further and to get rid of the rest ones, that are unnecessary.
To illustrate the idea and to conceive it better, consider the last meeting of the world leaders that took the place in the USA approximately one month ago. The most controversial and contentious media person of it has become Greta Tunderg, the 16-years old girl from the European union, who rose the question of precarious, hazard lifestyle of the humankind and as well the reluctant actions of the developed countries to solve this issue. One might argue that this fledgling is too aggressive and young, as well has not have yet the essential experience in the handling the global processes and also there are the other more talented and high-gifted persons whose achievements are deserved to be shedded by harsh light of the media. However, having analyzed the effects created by Greta, it can be promptly realized that while the target here, in Media sphere, to apprise us with details of solving problems is huge and so is the aim to create awareness of the problem and make this irritating sense of dissatisfaction and pendency. Greta did it perfectly.
So, in the conclusion, it can be said that were it not for the Media, it could be estimated to be too onerous to connect with each other, to raise awareness among the tremendous part of the population concerning different issues and to solve the most urgent questions. There is no a need to retreat the Luddite attitude to Media persons and issues rose by them, rather than to make a positive posture to it.
