On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:
• describe the item you lost
• explain how you lost it
• tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to inform you that I lost my Giordano watch last week, during my trip to Mumbai.
It was an expensive Giordano watch, with the batch-id GEO76234X. It was a digital watch and had a blue strap with a grey dial.
During my tour to Santacruz Mumbai, I went to have breakfast in “The Grand Mumbai” restaurant on a bright Friday morning. I removed my watch and placed it on the table. To pick my order, I left my table unattended for few minutes, and when I returned I could not find my watch there.
I have got my watch 100 percent insured from your company and is still under coverage. I would request you to initiate the insurance process, so that I can recover my loss. Please let me know what all documents you would require so that the I can get the sum insured as soon as possible.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Xia
