Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter
– explain why you changed jobs
– describe your new job
– tell him/her your other news
Dear Peter,
Hope this letter finds you in good health. I feel really bad that it has been so long since the last letter. Anyhow, I am writing this letter to share with you the news that I have shifted my job. As you already knew that I got very less job satisfaction from the previous one, after hunting jobs for three months, I have moved to a new career in Microsoft Corporation.
It has been four months since I joined in this organisation as software engineer and my work involves creative and innovative thinking. Moreover, in this duration I have learnt plenty of new ideas. Consequently, I feel like, finally, I have got into the right place to quench my thirst for learning.
Furthermore, I would like to break another great message to you. It is that, last month, I have started a textile shop near my house, in collaboration with my niece. I hope from my heart that you can come once to my shop.
Thanking you,
Yours lovingly,
Janani.
