Dear Jane,
How are you? I am writing to inform you that I have recently collaborated with a non profit organization that educates under privileged children. Currently they are planning to build a school to provide free education, however they are short of funds. As you know I am a firm believer that no child must be deprived of the right to education and hence, I want this project to be a success.
As far as I can remember, we both share the same aspirations, for you volunteer as a computer teacher at the local school. Therefore, I request you to please contribute to this cause and spread the news with everyone.
Let me explain what can you do to help. Firstly please donate generously, because irrespective of the amount no contribution is small. Secondly, publish this article in the local newspaper which, is read by everyone, to grab more eyeballs. Lastly, spread the word among your peers and neighbors, who may also be involved with similar initiatives.
I hope together we can make a change provide a brighter future to these children.
Your friends,
Mary
