Write a letter to your landlord telling him how satisfied you are with your apartment and the improvement needed. Tell him,
What are you happy with in the apartment.
Areas that need approvement.
How the change will be good for you.
Dear Mr. Goyal,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to express my gratification with the facilities made available by you in our current dwelling and to get some repair work done for better living.
One of the best qualities of this apartment is the eye-catching interior, that is designed rigorously. Apart from the interior, the overall infrastructure of the society with peaceful as well as magnificent surroundings, including all the amenities that one can ask for, is worth appreciation. Moreover, the south-west facing balcony with splendid sunset views makes each evening special.
However, some parts of the flat need improvement, especially the kitchen and the main door. The chimney makes a loud sound, perhaps because the glass inside it is broken. Besides, the doorknob of the entrance gate is loose. Although I got it repaired once, the same problem persisted again. Thus, I request you to get it changed.
As I am putting up alone in the apartment, needless to say, both the repairs are imperative for the security purpose and to prevent any precarious situation.
I hope you would give your immediate attention to the matter. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Tara
