You and your family are living in rented accommodation in an English speaking country. You are not satisfied with the condition of some of the furniture.
Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
introduce yourself
explain what is wrong with the furniture
say what action you would like the landlord to take
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear .................,
You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Mr. Mehta,
We have rented your apartment last month as it is located in the city centre and walking distance to the market, school and office. However, I would like to express dissatisfaction regarding the furniture provided to us.
We have recently moved to Canada and have rented your flat as it was a fully furnished accommodation. Next day when we were unpacking our luggage and keeping our clothes in wardrobe , we found some small insects on the top of cupboard which were destroying wood of the cupboard. We tried to clean with dry mop but were unsuccessful as they were in large number. After sometime when we were having lunch on the dinning table, the table was wobbling. So we had sat down on the floor and had food.
I would request you to send someone who will spray pesticides on the wardrobe by which insects will die and we can use the wardrobe. I would also request you to send someone who will fix the furniture.
I will be waiting for your positive response.
Best Regards,
Saurabh
