Write a letter to a former teacher. In your letter:
give details of the job
explain why it is important to you
suggest what information your teacher could put in the reference

Dear Professor Johnson,

I am writing this letter with regard to a reference letter from you that I need to apply for a job.

I want to submit my application to Activision, a famous software and gaming developing company in Silicon Valley. it will be a full-time job and I will work as a back-end developer for the company’s newest gaming project which will be released in 2021.

I have included all prove of education in my portfolio but a letter of reference is the most important part because it evidently proves my skills and abilities. Moreover, you are widely well-known among the developers community and I believe a letter from you will surely promote my credibility to the employer.

I would be grateful if you could mention my android game, which won the annual software contest last year, in the letter. it was the very first time that I coded a full product by myself and I am still very proud of that.

I really hope that you could give me this favor.

Yours faithfully,

Truong Nguyen
