You are due to move into a rented apartment next month but you will not be able to
because you have some problems. Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter:
explain your situation
describe your problems
tell him/her when you think you can move in
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT
need to write any addresses.
Dear Mr Srikanth,
As you know, I planned to shift to your apartment located at Northwood street coming September, but the movement has to be pushed by a month due to personal commitments.
Currently, my daughter is studying her 4th grade in Little Flower School, located near my current residence in York. I have planned the relocation based on her exam schedule, which is due next week. However, due to administrative reasons, the school has postponed her exams by three weeks. I believe moving now will increase her travel time to school, consequently impacting her academic focus.
Considering the above reason, I would like to relocate once she finished her exams, in the first week of October. As it is short notice, I would like to apologize and reassure you that this is not of my best interests and I am willing to pay the rent amount in full for the coming month.
I await your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Srini Kolam
