You are due to start an English language course next week but you will not be able to because you have some problems.
Write a letter to the manager of the language school, Sally Flannigan. In your letter:
explain your situation
describe your problems
tell him/her when you think you can start.
Dear Sally,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing in reference to inform you that I won’t be able to start an English course scheduled next week due to some problems. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate I am travelling to Singapore for an important conference which is scheduled next week. Although I tried to post phone this trip however due to an important product launch at the event the trip couldn’t be rescheduled. Additionally, there are some important business meetings which require my presence. Though I was eagerly looking forward to joining this course and acquire skills as I have to speak at important conferences and events however due to work exigencies I wont to able to join the course on time.
Hence I would suggest to realign me with a fresh batch in mid of April as I will be back in India at that time. I look forward to your response and seeing you when I join the course.
Yours sincerely
