You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help. Write a letter to this friend.
In your letter:
Give details of your study plans
Explain why you want to get a part-time job
Suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Hi Rupi,
I Hope you are doing well. It's been a while that we both have connected and spoke with each other. I have good news for you my friend. I have been selected by the Humber University for the April'2021 Project Management course. Isn’t that an excitement news! This is a two Years course similar to what you did. I will be staying at the college hostel for couple of days until I find my own accommodation.
I remember, once you told me that you are doing a part-time job at Pizza hut along with your studies. I hope you still have some contact there? Once I will come there, I will need a Part-Time job to pay back my Loan amount which I have taken to pay fees at the university and also sustain my daily needs here at Canada.
I know that it’s been a while that you have not worked at the Pizza hut but it will be very helpful if you can speak with your Manager at the restaurant for me and give high regards for me. I am fine with the position offered as I understand that I don't have much experience in the hotel industry though I will definitely work hard and learn things as soon as possible.
I believe you will help me for finding this job.
Hope to see you soon. Take care.
Regards,
AV
