You are unhappy about a plan to make your local airport bigger and increase the number of flights. You live near the airport.
Write a letter to your local newspaper. In your letter.
1. explain where you live
2. describe the problem
3. give reasons why you do not want this development
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing regarding the airport's new extensions, and the increasing number of flights.
I am a resident of Nuzha street which is located next to the airport. I have been living here since 2009 with my entire family. this is our own apartment; hence, we cannot easily move elsewhere.
The problem is that the new expansion of the airport will not only leads to an increasing number of flights but will also raise the number of visitors which will increase the number of vehciles in the area.
The sequences of such expansion will negatively effect the area residents. The increasing number of flights will cause significant increase in the noise levels. Additionally, if the government did not provide enough parking space at the airport, our street will be terribly get crowded. As a sequance, the air pollution will significantly increase.
I hope that this matter could be considered promptly.
Yours faithfully,
Sara Eltantawy
