Dear Chris,
I am writing this letter to request for a week leave as my final exams for masters are due.
I have been studying masters from the last 2 years and now is the time to submit my final report with a few theory tests. I am afraid I need to take a week off to accommodate all the exams. I have tried my best to postpone but there is no way to do it.
The week off would be the first week of January. At this time of year, the workload is bearable and I spoke with John, he will be looking over my tasks for this period. I will also be in contact with him on a daily basis to get updates regarding work. I make sure to put extra hours, on returning, to keep up with all the important things I missed.
